Body lift question

If there's already a thread on this, point me to it, but if not, I currently have a 3" suspension lift and was thinking about a 1" body lift to add to it. Would I need to replace anything else or could I just slap it on no problem?

Just slap it on.Most BL's come with the fan shroud relocation brackets.Performance Accessories BL kit comes complete with everything you need.

I need some door surrounds. PM me if you know where I can get some used ones for a decent price.

Don't forget the transfer case shifter bracket.

Now that that's out of the way, would 4 inches overwhelm 33"s? I don't want it to look tacky

This. 5", I've discovered, looks a little rediculous.

I have a 3.25" suspension and just did a 1" body lift and it looks good with my 33's. I went with a Daystar lift because my body mounts were shot and the new poly's look really nice. Now I just wish they sold gap guards for the back.

So, here is an album with my TJ back when it was on 33's and only had a crap RC lift as the only mod.

Ignore the missing flare in most of the pics lol.

After this, I moved to 35s, and added a 1.25' body lift, added a 1' motor mount lift, added SYE/DS, Novak cable shifter, and swapped shocks. Still has the same aggressive stance, without being too high.

I had a RC 3.25" SL and 1" BL on my '06. At certain times I thought it made the 33s look a tad small, but it was, in my opinion, the perfect height for the size tires.

(when using an out-of-the-box lift kit and parts. I feel every statement I make on here needs a disclaimer so I don't anger the basement dwellers. Yes I'm aware LCG builds exist, yes I'm aware they can perform very well, yes they're awesome.)
