So I'm starting to look into repairing some of the body damage my jeep came with. The driver's side rear corner is toast. I don't mean dented, but crushed.
Now while I'm not too concerned with appearances, it is affecting functionality. The rear corner of the soft top can no longer hook on to anything, and let me say this winter has been a little drafty!
So anyone else ever have something like this fixed. What do they do? I don't think this can be bent back into shape (I tried with a sledgehammer, and it didn't do much), so I'm thinking they'll need to replace some of the body. Any ideas on how much this will cost (ballpark figures)? If it's too high, do any of you think I would be better off just replacing the whole body? I could probably find one on ebay or somewhere for not too much cash. Thanks.
