Blower Vent Issue

I have an 05 TJ. When I turn the blower vents on in any position (defrost, panel, leg, etc) or combination, the blower fan only pushes out air when in the top two blower settings. The lower two settings don't do anything. There is no fan noise and no air. I've read this thread

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/no-air-panel-vents-510344/

already but it doesn't mention my problem.

Electrical or vacuum related?

Thanks

my 2000 tj did something like that. On mine only the top setting worked the rest only leaked air through when I was moving. My issue was the blower motor resistor. Easy fix - its bolted into the firewall just behind the kick panel on the passenger side.

hope this helps

Thanks for info. Ordered the part and that did it. Stealership wanted $58. Found it online for $20 shipped.
