So I found this thread...

after searching my problem

this write up is for a 2002 and I have a 2001. I have to get some things from the auto parts store today anyway so I searched online to see their price. They have them....but they don't look anything like the resistor pic in the write up.

Is the '01 really that different from the '02?

Your's might look like this.

They are not the same. For the 01 you can actually see the coils acting like the resistors. The unit is slightly larger as well.

ok....thanks for the help....I just wanted to make sure I was looking at/getting the right thing.

The thread I linked also had people talking of the part for $20 at the dealership......for the '01...$60....$41 at the auto parts store. Another reason I was double checking.
