thanks for the link, but thats not my problem, all positions work, air blows out of all positions except defrost. in the defrost position the blower motor wont blow, so i leave blower on hi and go through all positions and it works, when I get to defrost the blower motor shuts off......
if vacum controls the blower motor then that thread helps but im sure my motor is electrical.... not trying to be a smart *** just frustrated....when I search all i find is vacum related and default to defrost threads
thanks

You don't say in your profile what year, etc of jeep you have so I'm only guessing, but on mine the lever that controls which operation has an "off" function to the far left. Again guessing, the slider control is somehow thinking it's off while in the defrost position. Might be a simple fix as in cleaning contacts on the slider switch ?

With the additional clarification of your issue you are right that link won't help.

Good luck.
