bikini, windjammer, duster
would this be a good setup to use during the summer for those weeklong rains? is it easy enough to put up and take off? and does it store easily so i could keep it in the jeep? and if you use the deck cover is it possible to still store stuff on the rear floor in front of the seat/or behind it? and if i have a factory hardtop which combo should i buy..they all seem the same except the prices. and it says either header, strapless bikini, or safari bikini. could somebody explain the differences

If you want cheap, buy the same set-up from Smittybilt.

too much negatives about smittybuilt products. i dont need the cheapest p.o.s out there i need something that will work. But can anybody answer the questions:
1. is it easy to put up and take down? 2. can you store stuff under the duster cover still? |

When you are driving you dont really get wet, when you are stopped the water pools up top, then you go, and its like you are on a slip n slide. If you have door sides, the top snaps into it, keeping out more rain.
I like my setup, easy to take down. I kinda get sick of the noise, but oh well, i drive a jeep Yard

I have safari, duster and windjammer with door surrounds, may get a few drops of water in the cab during a nice rain, but overall it is very effective.

I agree with wes19d. Had it without the door surrounds & water ran down inside the doors but with them things are much better, I took the back seat out of my LJ & can throw a set of golf clubs & a golf cart in there.
I have the bikini & safari bikini & almost always use the safari since it helps keep more rain out. Jeep was out in a down poor todat & seat belt was damp. Heck in heavy rain water got in around my doors with a hard top on. I don't notice noise from the set up, just strap it tight. The whole set up duster, bikini & windjammer takes me about 15 minutes to do it by myself. Usually only take off the bikini & drop half the duster while leaving the duster in place. Then only takes me 5 to 10 to get ready if rain is coming.

Yes but it is somewhat limited, about the same amount of space as a normal car trunk. Not that great but it works for me.
