ditto on the leaks, not really meant for the rain. i have only had it rain once on my bikini top and i had a tarp on me and bungee corded it on top of the bikini and that was the only way i was able to keep water from the inside.
Mine covers the back of the cab too. Keeps the dog out of the sun.
Would never use it as a winter top even with a duster and cab curtain.
It will leak. period.
I can even see daylight through one spec near the header.
Great for keeping the sun off.
Keeps some of the leaves and other crude out of the cab too.
I use it with the door surrounds.
Would be a pain to rap around roll bar with grab handles attached too.
I had my Bikini top on year round in the rain with no leaks (obviously rain wasn't a concern for me as long as it wasn't on my head). Winter time I ran the door Surrounds summer time I didn't but I think I may throw them on tomorrow because my velcro is starting to suck. Need some door surrounds?
One ton 04 Rubicon on 42's. 111WB and ready to party!
KEEP PUBLIC LAND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!!!
I have a bikini top on about half the year. Definitely get water in the jeep since it doesnt' cover everything (just front and back seat), but I have a waterproof cover I pull at least over the cab quick if it looks like it might rain.
It's a nice change to use compared to a soft top with no windows in. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone using it as a daily driver, I found it lets far more water in the cabin compared to just having a normal soft top on without windows...
Granted, mine only covers the front 2 seats, but the edges near where the doors might be actually roll in, so rain comes right off and lands on my side, where as the standard soft top drips just outside of the jeep.
