Bestop Trektop

Anyone see the new Bestop Trek top, kind of like Vikings top, not sure if it is just for the JK, but a Viking type top, with a big company behind it would be great.

I was interested in it too, but looking at Bestop's site it looks like it's only for the JK.

They have no plans for TJ or YJ in the future. I've already checked into it.

I also emailed bestop and they told me the same thing you said. Kinda sucks. Definately going for the viking top as soon as I can afford it.

you would think that they would bring it out for the YJ/TJ for a better market... but i guess it will suck for them since atleast here in Ohio, JKs are just mall crawlers with women in them.... oh well!! it looks like a nice top, but we'll never know!!!

Update: I guess there is a Trektop for TJs/LJs.

No pics yet but Quadratec has 'em.

Yeah, the TJ/LJ version was introduced at SEMA earlier in the month.

Looks pretty good. I had also emailed Bestop quite some time ago and was told there were no plans for a TJ/LJ top. Looks I'm gonna have to start savin' for one. One thing I noticed is that it doesn't look as if the windows zip out like the Viking top.

I'm wondering if the access to the rear compartment would be easier with this top compared to OEM. Unzipping & re-zipping the rear window on the OEM top just to load some stuff is just quite a hassle.

OMFG!! I want that top!!

However wow. $635. Plus says "47" Bow included", but then says "easy instructions (no bows)"

looks good but it doesn't seem very easy to take down.
does anyone know how it works? or is it just the rear window that can be unzipped?

I would agree, it looks like BestTop! and Viking came to an agreement....Part of which is possibly (this of course is a guess, not fact) the slight variation copycat top you see before you. Idk....but it sure looks familiar!
