Best Top Super top info

I am about to get a used best top super top and the guy told me you do not need the door inserts like the oem top. is this true? and does anyone have pictures of how it is mounted the the doors

The OEM surrounds are not used with the Supertop.
They have instructions on the Bestop website that are pretty detailed for installing them if you have questions.

i have the best super top with hard doors and there are rods (part of the tops frame) that go from the body to a supplied bracket that mounts where the roll bar mounts to the windshield, and the top wraps around the rod and secures with sewn in velcro. works good. very happy with it.

i have a supertop. all of the instructions are on the website if you are curious. Its pretty simple and straightforward to set up etc. a little water gets in around the doors, but its no big deal. i'd say its less water than with my hardtop. no need for door surrounds.
