Are there any good rockers where you don't have to drill into the tub?

Do the Rokmans come painted? Getting the A to Z's finished would be a bit of a pita.

You can get either painted or powdercoated.A $5 can of paint will fix the pita.

It depends what you are using them for.All heavy duty ones require drilling.I had some steel Rubi like ones that didn't need to be drilled.$50 on Ebay.

Rokmen all the way. It may cost a little more but you can see where your money went as soon as you see it on the porch. Good guys, great products.

You didn't but that is the usual argument the Rokmen fans use. Point is both are great products and never have heard someone complain about either, so why not go with the cheaper one?

I love our A to Z. Zach's a great guy to deal with. The rocker guards are available either in flare to flare length which simplifies installation, or in full length wheel well to wheel well which is nice. You can get them in bare metal to save cost, or in a couple of different finishes. I opted for the full length in bare steel. I cleaned and primed them with rattle can primer in an evening on the apartment porch. The next day I rattle canned them flat black in the afternoon, and installed them the next morning. Drilling and bolting them to the body tub maximizes clearance and isn't all that difficult to get right if you follow the directions. I also got the rocker guard gasket from Zach and ran a bead of silicone sealant around the perimeter to hopefully keep out moisture. Because I'm on a stock suspension with sagging springs and 30" tires, these guys have seen quite a bit of use and never blinked. I also find that even on my short Jeep, my passengers, especially those getting in and out of the back seat, really like the step.

FWIW,
Adam

The most economical deal is some used Rubi rockers, you can get them off ebay or craigslist for 1/5th what a set of 'real' rockers will cost you.

Another vote for Zach at AtoZ here. He took good care of me and I am happy with my ww2ww from him. I wanted ww2ww and protection up to the door.

If you want real protection as stated, there are several good brands: Rock-it Man, Rokmen, AtoZ, Gen-Right just to name a few. You're not going to get off cheap for good rockers, but it's a nice feeling knowing you have good protection.
