From what ive heard the only thing it makes faster is money leave your wallet. But seriously the only gains you will see are at the top end of your rev range which will not be very benificial off road or on your gas bill as you will have to be ringing your jeep out to use those extra hp

Really, if you knew the answer then you probably didn't need to come into this thread. YOU are the one wasting YOUR own time.

If this post gets me booted, then so be it.

EDIT:to the OP, I'm sorry for the thread crash

A simple search would have saved anyone from having to read this thread.

The best performance kit, for a TJ, would be lower gears not bolt-on so called "power adders". Money best spent elsewhere.

If you are considering purchasing performance boosters for a Jeep, you will need to practice first...... Go to nearest window, open it, and start tossing money in the wind...

Use the search. Type in "Edge module". You'll get 88 returns.

Like said already. It is all about the gear ratio with your jeep. You cannot get anymore real power without major engine work, and even then it's not really worth the money. You could build a stroker, or swap in a larger motor.

As much as I hate topics like this. The guy is brand new. Sure you can point him in the direction of the search button, but there's no need to be a ****** about it. We where all new here once.

Here is a great thread about CAI's if you haven't found it yet.

Here is somthing to read that will help you as well.

And welcome.

i did a intake and i regret it. im from newengland and we been having so much rain. puddles are big and everywhere. im afraid of sucking in water. i wish i spend my money on a snorkle. thing that are worth money that i have done is lift, tires, winch. are better ways to spend your money. and for more power all you can do is regear.
