HOLY CRAP, its super cool, but $700 is a lot of coin for disconnects! (it got pushed much farther down the list of mods i 'need')
It looks like i might have solved the DW. My toe was damn near 0.5". I used 2 1x1 pieces of wood bungeed to the wheels and set it too about 1/16-18" toe in. The jeep drives smoother now (yeah, who woulda thought ) On a 20 min drive where i could normally get it shaking real good i only had a slight vib once. Also as a tip when it feels like the DW wants to take charge, dropping a gear and punching it would normally straighten things out. I learned that trick when i had a bike. When the front would start to shake, just lift the tire off the ground and things "calm" down (if wheelies are ever calm). I'll give it a few days and see how things go. Thanks for the tip on the wood!!![]() |
