Been happy with 2" BB - now want springs...

I have been running my 2" BB for a few months now and am perfectly happy with the height, but I want to go to springs now and possibly another .5" max and would like to level the Jeep out a bit.

i already have shocks & an antirock, no body lift - what are your recommendations?

What about the OME kit. I think that's 2.5 right?

What about the BB don't you like? I'm thinking about getting it, but maybe I should wait and save up for springs?

Its a complete personal thing, I would rather have springs controlling the height over spacers, no other reasons why other than "want"

Im interested in this as well. Ive had my BB on for a couple of months, and although I love the height and look I want it to be just a tad bit higher. I was thinking a spring replacement would work, but which ones?

from what I hear the OME 2.5 kit will actually give you a little bit more than 2.5"...no personal experience, just what I've read

I have the Rubicon Express BB and if I raise it anymore I am sure I will need a SYE or I'll have to go the hack route by lowering the transfer case. You can definitely feel a difference in the driveline by the change in driveshaft angle when you start from a dead stop on the REBB. The REBB spacers are approx 1-11/16 inches each unloaded. Otherwise, I have no complaints. Once I reach 4mph or faster everything is fine.

I have the same BB, and the same issue. But that doesnt concern me that much. I dont mind geting an SYE if I lift it a bit more.

The OME TJ springs will give you close to what you are wanting for height. BDS makes 2" that is pretty spot on as far as lift goes as well. Not sure if the Tera BB is only 1.75" of actual lift as most brands are, but a 2" spring will give you a bit more than what you have now considering your 10 year old springs are likely sagged unless you swapped them out already.

That is exactly what I was looking at, my buddy with a JZ was going to go with a BB so I may just sell him my spacers and go to the OME 2.5 springs.

If I just did a 2.5" spring up front and kept my 2" BB in the rear would that level things out a bit and be just fine or would that cause other issues?

I was all set to do the OME. But for the money I'm going with the BDS, I know some will have something to say, but I can't justify spending the extra money on the OME lift. Hence going with BDS next week...

You'll be pleased. My recently installed 3" BDS springs ride every bit as good as the OME springs they replaced. I was suprised at how affordable they were as well.

I agree with you and it's still a Jeep and won't ride like a Lexus even with OME.
