Beat to death I'm sure.....

I did a lot of searches and didn't come up with a whole lot.

Will the leaking of my exhaust manifold (I6 of course) cause any other problems other than a noisy Jeep ? Will it run any better with a new header ?

I already have the after market header like the one in the ad above on JF ad and it is cracked now...although I did buy the Jeep used and have no idea how old the manifold is...should I replace it with something similar...seems to be what everyone esle uses as a replacement.

Way back in the day I was told that if the leak is bad enough that cold air coming in thru it onto a hot engine can warp the head. Never actualy heard of this happeneing to anybody though.

leajing manifold will cause a slight loss of power (more noticeable in the 4cyl) and eventually lead to a clogged cat as the crack throws the o2 sensor off and causes an always rich condition.
