Here are some current pics of the YJ. I listed it for sale Monday on Craigslist. It is amazing how many people have contacted me in such a short amount of time. My favorite was the guy wanting to trade me a full size charter bus for the Jeep. Anyway, here are the pictures.

Initially that was the plan. We decided to keep the Taurus for all the stuff she has to tote around for coaching and teaching. The Jeep is far superior to the Taurus. I agree it is heresy, but I just want to make sure she is happy. It would be neat if someone new to Jeeps buys it. They would be easily converted into lifetime Jeepers. Down the road, I definitely want another YJ. I really like it.

We recently sold the YJ to a nice family. School started back up and my free time has been cut in half. Needless to say, my Jeep progress has slowed. I am going to post a couple interior pictures. Wednesday I plan on mounting a toolbox, making a flashlight mount and shovel mount on old rear seat belt mounts, getting new tires, BIG beef tie rod upgrade, and doing an oil change.
I picked up Rubicon Express adjustable upper control arms from 2005X for cheap. Upgrades for the near future include tube fenders w/ 3 inch flare, rustys lower control arms, rear diff cover, 1.25 body lift, front leveling spacer to offset winch weight and uneven appearance, flush taillights, motor mount lift, rustys corner guards, still need to fab up the gerry can mount, and a nice batman decal as recommended by TheBoogieman. I'm sure I will think of more as I go along.

Husky mats, cb, herculined, ran some wires, sub and amp mount in ammo box, got tuffy console for cheap, and super cool Batman hanging from rope on rear view mirror

Pre fender trim

Taping

Yikes! That's a lot

Both pieces of trimmed fender, trimming razor, and finishing files

Before using files to make smooth and very even

Nothing to flex on.

Jeepstock

This weekend is Midwest Jeepthing's 6th annual Jeepstock which is held at Wa****a Off-Road Park in Farmington, MO. Midwestjeepthing.com describes the weekend as, "A family-friendly weekend full of wheeling, camping, nature, new friends, old friends, and raffle prizes." It's gonna be a great weekend. Lots of pictures on the way soon!

Yo Kevin! Did you change your mind about Jeepstock? You rolling down with me tomorrow? I would love to have the tires your selling, but I just bought these!

Brought the old ones home. Already sold on craigslist.

Close up of new tire and trim job. I think it looks good.
