Thanks to both of you. Once the YJ is cleaned up and completed, it will be my wifes daily driver. We bought it for cheap and it was loaded with extras. The extras are going to the TJ. It has been a fun project.

The hummer intake was pieced together with several parts. The actual intake is off of a military hummer. It took a while, but I finally found one listed on ebay. The best part is that it was cheap!

They don't look like they will fit mine either. I haven't tried yet, but just eyeing them up, they look too big. I hope the seller replaced yours without any hassle.

unfortunately I already had my front end taken apart when i realized it, I havnt talked to the people that sold them to me yet, it was an ebay seller from miami. I just had to bite the bullet and buy the expensive ones from advanced to get the front end back together. They are too big, both upper and lower, or if I remember correctly the upper were too big while the lowers were too small. I searched ebay for one of those intakes but didnt find one, Ive wanted to do somthing like that since ive had my tj!

My wife is hiding and holding the other window seal. I received the spare rim in the mail today. I got the tire for $20 off of craigslist. We plan on doing lots of jeep work and taking more pictures this weekend.

I put the winch on and did several other things yesterday. The winch really adds character to the Jeep. I'm very happy with it. All my other pictures are on a camera in the shed. I will just post them all Tuesday. I have Tuesday and Thursday off and plan to have the YJ completed and on the road by Thursday evening. The tasks that remain are; tightening the bell housing and starter bolts, replacing the left outer tie rod, tightening door hinges, putting a second coat on the hardtop, replacing fender blinker bulbs (the blinker fluid was okay. ), replacing the upper and lower ball joints & hub bearings, paint a small spot near both the door mirrors, mount some steps, put a nut on the steering wheel and a decorative jeep horn cap over that, a wash, find some seat covers, A/C recharge, and transmission fluid. We are also planning on painting it in a few months. After Thursday, I can put my focus back on the TJ. One of my next mods will probably be a DIY highline hood. There are several other projects that need to be completed this summer.

YJ pictures

Old window seal

Look at the top of the hardtop. There is a visor over the sunroof. I thought the sunroof was a cool feature.

Nasty sunroof cloth

Cloth removed. Black part shined up.

Bushwacker flares and warn rockers. The hardtop has one coat of paint on it. The second coat will be a rock coat and the spray lines will not be visible.

Carpet looking much cleaner.

The hub bearing is off!!! Thanks to mrblaines bolt tip.

New tie rod. Ball joints ready to be replaced.

TJ pictures and updates.

Engine pic. New air intake box routed to the hummer intake. Also, an Optima Blue Top battery.

Rocker steps mounted and looking shiny!

The bracket that holds the tire to the tire carrier finally came in. Mounted the tire.

Jeep work has been slowed due to an increase in hours at work. I had two days off after 17 days in a row. We decided to go camping and canoeing at Meramec Caverns in Missouri.

Jeep and campsite near the river

Next week, i have several days off and plan on getting some work done. I will post pictures of anything worthwhile. Also, I am planning on putting the YJ up for sale. My wife decided to stick with the Taurus. Hopefully, it will sell quickly and provide someone with some fun.
