dc to dc step up converter

For those of you like sxysouthtx, a dc to dc converter installed in the cab like this may work for powering those 24 volt surplus items. Check out the military grade ones at the left of the chart. these are a bit on the pricey side, but if you do enough searching your bound to find a reasonably priced unit.

12/24 volt DC/DC converters 700 Watts peak

Thanks but I can't take credit for this job. I just don't have the time so a gave them to a good friend that has a small fab shop in Baltimore. The guy is amazing!

Thanks bro. I really like them. I plan to change all lights I have over to the LED's on the Willys also. It just makes sense. It pulls less power and is brighter, function over form.
Here is a pic of the cj at what is left of Fort Holabird Baltimore City. ( jeep texting area for WW2)

Here you can see 2 of the 3 cull climbs behind us. Check out my YouTube link for the videos.

Thanks. I'm also thinking about doing all LED lamps for everything else. And changing everything on my cj2a to LED. It will pull way less power and be way brighter.
