I'm trying to decide if I want to put my stock TJ rims on my wifes XJ, but I don't want to if the TJ rims have more backspacing then the XJ. The XJ is 5.25 so if the TJ is 5.5 I wont put them on, bit if it's 5.0 then I will. Anyone out there that can say for sure?

Why don't you just measure the backspacing on your spare tire wheel? Every TJ wheel I've seen has 5.5" but I haven't measured every single one they now sell.

For sure the gamblers are 15x8 w/5.5"bs. More than likely your XJ rims are 15x7 w5.25bs.

Moab rims found on the Rubicons (16x8) are 5" back spacing. Just picked up a set. They stick out just perfect. 5.5" on the old Ravines (15x8).
