axle/gear upgrade advice...

Hey guys/gals,

need some help. I have a 98TJ sport with d30/35 axles with 3.07's. I know I need to upgrade the gears or axles but don't know what I'm going to get myself into. I've been browsing the classifieds/ebay/craigslist looking for rubicon axles and such but haven't found anything yet.

Can anyone direct me to a thread/post of what I'm going to need to do the swap to 44's? and what else I will need to buy in regard to parts...

Thanks in advance...

Gunner

Heres on thread on the swap, see if you can get the transfer case too.

I wouldn't be so quick to dump the axles you already have. Have you looked into chromoly D30 axles and a S35 kit? You can find them easier than D44 axles and it will be cheaper and easier in the end and you will have axles that should be strong enough for almost anything you encounter.
