autozone lift kit

Im sure as anyone, budget boost lifts are the cheapest way to get a cheap lift, which im needing right now.

I have been reading, about 93 through 98 grand cherokee v8, their front coil springs drop right in a tj front, no mod needed.

They are stiffer, which gives about 2" lift.

I have 3 2" spacers pucks from collins bro a friend gave me, new in box, because he lost one.

Are there any downsides to getting new GC springs from autozone, stock oem replacements, installing them in the front with 2" longer ranchos.

Then installing new tj rear springs, with new shocks as well, and the pucks to achieve a 2" lift on a budget. Well under 200 bux spent for everything.

What about pitman arm, rear track bar, and brake lines?

My stock springs are too wore out to use the 3 spacers I have, not to mention collins bro spacer kit is on back order, so I cant order a 4th one.

Here's some info on what you are talking about, I would go with the rear Crown Vic police springs, should be able to get them at a Junk yard pretty easily. Here is another option if you want another BB spacer.

Some people have vibration problems with only 2" of lift due to the increase in driveline angle and the fact that the rear pinion is no longer parallel to the transmission. Not saying you will, but if you do it can be fixed cheaply with a motor mount lift, transfer case/skid drop, or you can go the more expensive route and do SYE, double cardan DS, and adjustable uppers. Then again, you may not have vibes.

To add 2" of lift with coil spacers is ok. All you need is spacers, brake lines maybe, and shocks. Any higher and you need drop pitman arm, different control arms, and other stuff to do it right.

Probably cheaper to just buy a new BB.

no new longer pitman arm without a relocated track bar. Its best to leave steering stock, and beef up those chep tie rods

Why would he need all that stuff, no need for a drop pitman arm they usually cause more problems that the are worth, and the stock control arms work fine up to 3.5" of lift. He will need new shocks, brake lines are also fine until you get to 4" of lift, most people can lift a jeep with out vibes to 2.5" after that usually a t-case drop or MML is required. When near 4" you will need a SYE and CV drive shaft.

I didn't say that!!!! I said for lifts over 2" Stock control arms at 3.5" of lift would ride rougher than a CJ.

What ever you say I guess, you are a CJ owner and apparently know everything about TJs, most of you ride control comes with the type of shocks you buy, there are many TJs that run 3" springs on stock CA's with out problems. The RC 2.5" Coil spring lift uses stock CA's and rides much better than stock. You also seem to think you need drop pitman arm go read the threads about them on JF every body complains about them, even with 4" of lift many use the stock pitman arm just because they causes so many steering problems.
