Automatic transmission on my 4 banger ?

Hey guys
I was wondering..

Would it be possible to add an auto 4spd tran on my 2005 2.4 TJ ?

If yes, how complicated would that be?

Thanks in advance

That's the last thing you want to do with a 4 banger.

You've got the best transmission ever offered in a TJ. It's also the lowest geared transmission, which is a good thing for the 4 hamsters under your hood. I can guarantee that you would be quite upset with a 42rle IF you could even make it work. Be happy with what you have. If you must have an auto, the easiest swap (easier by A LOT) would be the 3 speed auto 30rh.

So why do you think you need a 4 speed auto?
