Automatic shifter linkage

So, after my jeep left me stranded and I thought the starter went out it was actually the shifter linkage at the transmission had came loose and it was stuck in reverse. The eye or socket has popped off the ball. You can put it bacshifted shift a few times but it pops back off. I have searched the forums and most posts go un-answered.... I need some guidance on replacement pieces. Thanks everyone

Try searching "auto linkage" by title specific.

Used this fix a couple years ago

Hope that helps!

Did you flatten the weld and drill from behind? I took mine off and I'll probably use the bench grinder at work and then use the drill press since it's available, instead of having my wife hold it while
I drill...
