auto/auto tranny swap...opinions?

I've been reading alot about the AW4 swap into a TJ. I'm thinking about doing it for the strength and the overdrive. It SEEMS like it'd be easier on mine since I already have an auto in there. (same brake pedal, cooler, etc.) I can also sell the 32RH and offset some of the costs.
Is the swap worth doing just to get the OD and a higher vent?

I have been thinking about the same thing, I have a 97 with a 3spd auto. This month in JP they put a 700R4 in a 97. Any input from anyone that has done a OD conversion would be great.

Thanks. Tom

That is a question that you ultimately have to answer yourself.

Anyway, I haven't done the swap but other than small details I think it will take about the same effort.
