I think getting interaction between different forums is a good thing. At the end of the day people don't do what you ask them to anyway. At least its exposure. The more positive exposure to the sport the better.

Hey if my Jeep ever makes the top 10 list I will be posting flyers around 16 major cities asking for votes as well as putting ads in newspapers and local cable broadcasting. So I don't really see the big fuss about soliciting votes on a few other jeep forums.
