ASD relay circuit and Fuel pump relay issue

My jeep is throwing the codes P0627 and P0685 which are the ASD control circuit and fuel pump control circuit. Anyone know what could be wrong with them? and if the whole thing needs to be replaced? I had to jump start my jeep this morning and then it sounded like my fuel pump was straining. To add, when I turned the key to start it this morning, nothing happend. There was no starter tick and no lights turned...no door dinging. Once I jumped it everything was fine except it was throwing those codes. Maybe I should try and reset the codes and hope it's nothing?

Thoughts?

Did you put the negative cable onto a body ground instead of the battery? If not, you could have fried something. AAA has had to buy MANY ECMs because of this.

I just connected it like I always have with all my cars. Pos to jeep battery, pos to other battery. negative to jeep batter and negative to other battery. Never fried anything like that before. But **** me if that's what happend.

What does AAA do? replace the stuff for you?

Could just be the relays you think? I'm gonna disco the battery when i get home and see if that resets the codes.

in general you should put both pos and neg on the running vehicles battery then both on the dead vehicles battery.. I Think...

That's how I've always done it man. I did a lil more searching and my ASD relay may just be fried. I'll check it to make sure when I get home.
