What is funny, is that the fenders actually look much different in real life.

In the pictures the arch looks so much more severe than it does in person...I love these fenders.

Any word on if MetalCloak is going to offer an extended inner fender for those with 1" or 1.25" BL? Or something poly to fill the gap on what they have?

At this stage we are not planning on developing a filler for those with a body lift. While we understand that in some cases body lifts are a necessity, we have yet to find a quality solution that would work in ALL cases.

And as always, we like to reward our customers if they find an off-the-shelf solution that helps everyone.

Could you offer an inner fender replacement (optional upon purchase for those who haven't got them yet) that is the same exact inner fender but extended 1"? I don't know what all goes into it, so it may not be cost effective, I don't know.

Great question. But, based on expected volume, it would not be cost effective to produce, especially since if we offer a 1", we will have requests for a 2", etc. We are definitely dedicated to meeting the needs of our customers, and if a universal solution is found, we will pursue it.

Do you have a rear bumper specific thread? Makes me sad how much I want to discuss this...

OK, you know how the inner fender has the top flat portion that bolts to the outer fender, and then the panel that drops to meet the frame? What about JUST the panel that drops to meet the frame, or really more like just a few inches of it, so you could slide it down to meet the frame without a gap in the same way as if you had no body lift, and then drill and bolt it on right there. Paint it black and no one will even notice. All it would have to be is a 6" or 12" wide sheet of aluminum that matches whatever length it would be from grill to tub, with the cut-out for the front shock tower...

Just spit-ballin' here

I finally got around to installing my MC arched fenders...better late than never I guess...

still have to bolt up the underhood items but noticed that the hood seems to rub/bind on the fender when lowered....has anyone else had this issue?...it was late and I was coming in from the garage so didn't pursue it any further....would I need to bend/form the hood?

Some TJ hoods touch the inside of the fender tube. It was designed to be close to maximize tire clearance. Get a friend and both of you gently push on both sides (opposite) of the hood where the touching is occurring. You will will be able to curl the hood in just enough to provide closing clearance. I hope this information is helpful.

^ I just smacked mine a couple of times with the heel of my hand, worked like a charm, and you can't see it otherwise.

Been a little while since I've posted here and in response to some PM's I've had lately --- I thought it was time to revitalize this thread.

Ordered mine on the last day of the sale. Matson is very helpful. They are en route and I will post pictures after installation. But I'm living in a hotel right now and installation will be a while unless I can find someone who will let me use their garage and tools for paint and installation.
