ARB Quadratec Edition Front Stubby Bull Bar Bumper

Does anyone have the ARB Quadratec Edition Front Stubby Bull Bar Bumper? i have been trying to decide on a bumper but i can't decide.
i hear that this bumper is really heavy and makes the front of your jeep sage down in the front speacially after a winch... Is this true?

the more weight on the front the worse itll be... thats why I got an Aluminum bumper... look at metalcloak or savvyoffroad for a nice one. you can also get synthetic line rather then steel for the winch to cut down on the weight..

EDIT: alot of people run steel bumpers tho, nothin wrong with em.

I have one variant of metalcloaks... with an AL center and steel end caps. You can make a custom bumper, there are many different routes to go with them.

Another while I was installing it and the winch... Has a steering box skid and a winch hoop for protection...

All in all...
Main bumper section - AL
Fairlead - AL
Skid box - Steel
End caps - Steel
Winch hoop - Steel
Winch plate - forgot (prolly steel)

Plus synthetic line for more savings... i think the center section in AL is about 7 lbs...

I wanted a shrockworks front bumper, but when I realized how much it weighed, i shyed away. This bumper/winch combo didnt make much of a noticeable difference in my front end sag.

The bumpers are heavy, but I don't think they make your front sag that much. I really wanted the full ARB bull bar, but also saw the quadratech stubby version for less $$, but I was wanting the full coverage for the front end. I ended up with the Rugged Ridge HD Offroad bumper which is a similar style and had the full coverage I wanted, even with the Sahara fender flares. This shows it with a RC 2.5" progressive spring lift with .75" spacer and 1.25" BL and 33" tires.

Our ARB stubby edition bumper is probably the top selling TJ bumper we carry. It only weighs 80 pounds, but has the same structural integrity as the full sized ARB Deluxe Bullbar. It's a very hard bumper to beat!

I got it on sale (which is almost always) from 4wd hardware for $628.99, so it is a little more $$, not sure about shipping, I called and got several things at once and they gave me a break on the shipping, . I didn't weigh it before I put it on so I am not sure of the weight. I posted the pics because if you like the ARB's I thought you might like it also. I had a hard time finding pics and info on it before I got it, but I really like it. It went on really easy. There was some confusion on the winch mount bolt pattern. I thought I was going to have to dill it to fit my winch, but when I measured them both it was a perfect fit. I can't remember which was wrong, but one was supposed to be 5" x 10" and the other 4.5" x 10", but I believe they both were 4.5" x 10". Don't quote me on the dimensions I can't remember exactly.

I really wanted to get your Quadratec edition, but it just didn't have the full length coverage I was looking for, which I know is not that popular, but yours is a really nice looking bumper for a good price. It was hard to find pics of yours as well. Do you have any pics of different angles of it on a TJ other than what I see in the advertisments?

HUGE post here with photos and reviews: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/qu...bumper-766143/

I ran it on my TJ for almost 2 years and absolutely loved it. Posted several photos of it installed on the thread above. My photos start on Page 3.
