My rig's changed a bit since the last time I entered (12/2009) so I
thought WTH, let's toss her in one more time.
I really like TJOTM. I like being able to one click and see/read about
10 interesting jeeps all at once. Without TJOTM, I would miss out on seeing
several awesome builds this year. If my entry can help support one of
my favorite threads continue to be interesting, please count me in.

Story (optional):*
Why is it that every vehicle I’ve owned I always promise to leave alone and then up with thousands of dollars of parts on the vehicle? I guess it’s an addiction. Anyways my Jeep unlimited has gone though Several Phases and I’m sure it’s not finished yet (even though I secretly tell myself the build it will be done soon) It was my purchase from a Marine in May of 2009 that pointed me in the direction that I am in today. I started with a nicely equipped Jeep Unlimited with the Dana 44 rear, hardtop and upgraded wheel group. My sale of garage junk led me to an owner of a 2006 unlimited and the purchase of a new soft-top and another set of stock wheels. These wheels were later traded for a set of golden eagle wheels, which set my Jeep apart from any other, in Redneck fashion. I then located the Golden Eagle decals and had them affixed to my Daily Driver and thus the only Red Golden Eagle Unlimited was born. My first true mod was a 1976 Jeep CJ8 tailgate, removed from a gold Fire Department Brush Fire Truck. The sale of my worthless Stainless tube bumpers funded the transformation and a mopar rock bumper. I think that AEV inspired me to get the bumper, but for all conversations sake this bumper is a piece of junk. After seeing the sale of several hardtops I put mine on Craigslist and instantly $1100 was in my hand. Having a pocket full of money I found that AEV Kent had a set of beadlock wheels n tires for sale, and well I couldn’t resist. Almost instantaneously I purchased a treks hyline kit with all the fixin’s; Fenders, rockers, and corners. The corners*and rockers were installed on the jeep and allowed me to haul them to NC to get powdercoated.*Unfortuately the*powder coating process almost took me for broke, but*was a great learning experience.*Regardless of the long wait I finally got my project in shape. Its nice to look back and see the progress that was made. Suprisingly*enought the ride is better than factory*-The OME lift was definatley worth the extra money.*Special thanks to Ricky Rubin, Treks, and Cape Fear Customs Powdercoating. Still waiting on getting some bumpers and some small itemsbut here it is, in all its glory.

Story:
My name is Scott Dutter and I am the driver/owner for Biohazard Offroad competition team. For the last two years I have competed in RCroc’s (
Welcome to RCrocs!) held at Rausch Creek Offroad Park in Tremont, PA, one of the fastest growing amateur rock crawling series in the US and a feeder series for WEROCK. I compete in the Street Stock Class (Class 1) which allows for up to 33” tires, one locker, and a stock style suspension. It is full of competitors with their trail rigs and even some street driven vehicles.
The first year competing I was still daily driving my Jeep and had to be a little careful not to do too much damage. In my first competition, first course, I broke both front axle shafts. That lead to the quick purchase of the chromoly shafts before the next of the season. I finished fourth place in my first season and knew that I was hooked. Since I wanted to improve my standing in the next season I sent out numerous requests for sponsorship to several different companies for different parts and projects.
For my second year competing, I had a sponsorship from Rock Krawler. This sponsorship included a custom made 3 link suspension built and installed by Rock Krawler. I am running 2.5" springs along with a 1" body lift. These additions along with some gained experience allowed me to earn a third place series finish in my second year competing. I am still looking to improve, and I am learning to push the limits of my Jeep more and more which leads to my new sponsorship for the next season from Down N Dirty Customs. DND is in the process of building me a 6t frame tie in Roll cage and installing a pair of CNC cutting brakes for me.

Story (optional):The jeep was built to serve my needs as a daily driver and a trail riding,beach-sand driving machine with beauty playing a big role.Insp iration came from jeepforum and all the great TJ's i saw in there. The bigest problem of all was money, this TJ is in Greece so shipping plus taxes for all the parts i purchased from the US was too much. The final product though is my dream TJ,so i guess it was all worth it.
Thanks for considering me!!
