Anyone with RCI Fuel Cell and PSC TJ Fuel Ring?
I have a RCI2161A Fuel Cell and installed the Poison Spyder Customs TJ Fuel Ring so I can use my stock fuel pump in my new fuel cell. Only problem is the fuel pump, even when stretched to it's maximum length, doesn't touch the bottom of the fuel cell, there's about 1 3/4 inches it doesn't reach on the bottom(ALOT of gas in my opinion). Anybody have any hints or suggestions on how they've extended the fuel pick-up or fixed this problem?? Thanks

That is one problem with the PS fuel cell ring. It raises the pump and makes you loose even more usuable gas. I have the kore4x4customs.com rings which makes is to the pump sits flush with the top of the fuel cell and my pump doesn't hit the bottom of the cell. You DO NOT want your pump extended, as it will come apart since nothing it holding it together. In the stock tank it is almost fully compressed nice and tight so that doesn't happen. You need to put 3 screws (self taping about 1/4" long with rubber washers) in the legs of the pump so you don't have to worry about it coming apart. Here is what I did to mine:
