anyone heard of Zone Offroad lifts!!!!

I'm in the market for a 4" lift for my 05 Rubicon, and I found this ad for Zone
Offroad they are based out of Coldwater Michigan. I've never heard of them but I wonder if they have anything to do with BDS or Trailmaster both are based out of Coldwater?Their 4" kit is only $529.00 with shocks,
control arms and free shipping. BUT I DON"T WANT SOMETHING THAT"s going to ride like S**T!!!!I know you get what you pay for right. The control arms look alot like BDS, but how do the BDS springs ride on a TJ, if they are BDS springs. I've had BDS on YJ's and CJ"s.I didn't like them on my YJ but on my son's CJ-7 they worked good, but that's all leaf springs not coil springs. Hope someone can help me out here PLEASE!!!! Also I plan on using my TJ as a daily driver and lite trail I've got a trail jeep to beat on!!!!

You cant go wrong with Rubicon Express, Clayton, TnT, Full Traction, or Nth AEV.

I know Rubicon Express, Full Traction. Never heard of TnT lifts, Nth are very high$$$,Claytons pretty much all custom right? The cost is more what I'm looking at if the Zone lift ride's half way decent. My Rubicon is my daliy driver and light trail Jeep, I'm not going to be out banging around on rocks the size of school bus.

well even you said it, you get what you pay for. my rubicon is my DD. ive got nearly 14k miles on my lift and BFGs now.

you can get cheaper components but one of the main things for ride quality are shocks - dont skimp on your shocks. Rubicon Express Monotubes, OME Nitrochargers, and any of the custom stuff like Bilstein 5100+ or Fox Racing is good stuff.

Here is another 4 inch lift in that price range, along with a review of it, courtesy of Oman Jeep.

Does anyone have any expierence with the **** Cepek kit with the drop down brackets for the CA's? That sounds like a well thought out design and for $499, a hell of a deal.

Oman4x4 ran it and he seemed to enjoy it, though most on here will have trouble supporting anything that uses the word "drop"

I don't know about that, but I did talk with Oman and he said they drop the mounts of the control arms down about 4 inches.

Zone Offroad Products is a new division of Sport Truck USA. Sport Truck USA owns and operate BDS Suspension, 4x4 Posi-lok, & Truckmaster Distributing to name a few. We started Zone Offroad Products to offer quality offroad lifts and accessories at competive pricing. We have had good feedback from our customers on the ease of install, the quality of the components, and the quality of the ride. There is a review on our TJ kit here:

Will I guess I will never see a ZONE product. The hassle I had with BDS and SPORT TRUCK USA, I will never recommend them to anybody.

I did get it fixed the way I wanted it, but it was a bad experience for me.

Well I will say this so far we are bds lovers here, run several of there products as well as some of our friends do. Never had a problem with the bds, as for the zone xj lift I am on crutches right now which is making me wait to install it but I have high hopes especially since pricing is good and need to save money to lift several xj's.

I just put my sons TJ back together and installed a Zone 3" lift. It installed easily and the ride is smooth(especially compared to my YJ). The components seem to be quality, but only time would tell. I would say it is definitely worth the price.
