Anyone have a Hurst shifter?

In some of my four wheel catalogs I've seen a hurst shifter for sale with the classic tee handle available. Has anyone tried one of these in a jeep? It supposedly gives you a better throw then the stock shifter, reduces shaking, improve the 2nd to 3rd upshift, etc. Please let me know guys. Thanks.

here's the link to it at Quadratec

I have the Hurst shifter in my CJ-7. It definitely performs as advertised, shorter throw, crisper shifts. A world better than the trashed, stock shifter.

I have it and it is well worth the money, its not a sports car shifter but its tons better than the sloppy OEM. You wont' be sorry if you spend the 190 bucks on it!! I would not get the T- Handle, thats not going to help you any just do like I did and install your stock shifter Knob.. I am very critical of stuff but the way this thing is built makes it feel like you got a new tranny..

The down side is you will have to go to the Gym because you will not be getting that free right arm workout anymore...

Oh yea it looks super nice with the flat chrome bar with hurst engraved in it.. Much better looking that the B&M. The B&M is like 30 bucks cheaper and i think is the same design. it just does not look as good!!

awesome, thanks a lot guys. I thought it seemed pretty sweet but I always like to double check with other jeepers who have actually used the product because we all know marketing can be misleading. I'll put it on the list.

Different animal but I was very happy with the Hurst on the 'vette. Very high quality and well made.
