Anyone ever experinced a really hot PCM?

I was replacing my blower motor and and after checking everything out, I went to feel the blower chassis to see if it was hot, while reaching down to feel the blower motor chassis, I rubbed my arm against the PCM and it felt like I burned the fk out of my self. Scares me to think I have an electrical component getting that hot.

Ever heard of this?

I can honestly say that in all these years, I've never bothered to touch it once it had been running for a while.

Never thought of touching the computer either, however the engine compartments on Jeeps are like ovens when operating in hot weather.
