Any pointers on removing Air Conditioning parts?

Hi guys

I never use my AC, the top of is off all the time. Recently I think the AC bottle under the hood exploded.

I attached a photo of it, (97 Jeep TJ) - any pointers on removing this from the system and any ill effects in doing so? I already removed the control panel from the dashboard (for heat and AC!)

when i removed mine from an xj. i used bolt cutters to get all the line out of the way, then just started removing each component. was easy.
