Any issues with 1.25" Body lift on auto trans?

I've seen several threads about problem with shifter linkage on manual trans jeeps when doing a body lift. Is it any more or less of a problem with an automatic trans?
It's something I'm interested in but don't want to create new problems.

With the auto it has a cable to shift it into gear, You wont have to mess with it at all. Just the T-case linkage.

x2. And the t-case shifter linkage adjustment is very straightforward. You may or may not need the bracket that comes with the JKS 1.25" BL, but wait until you have everything back together and try to shift, as you may be fine.

You shouldn't have any problems at all with the t-case drop. All i did when i put the drop spacers in was spray some lubricant on the adjuster rod, Loosened it, And installed the spacers and sometimes all you have to do is go back and tighten it back up as it will slide with the drop, If not tighten it, get in and play around with the lever so you know which way it has to go. I set mine in the 2-hi position, I read some place you put in 4-lo, But i have never popped out of gear or had any odd grinding noises or being able to shift into 2-4-4 at any bind. Chances are, you wont have to mess with it.

Well, several times while wheelin at tellico I have shifted into 4L and put it in gear, it would slip out of 4 low and cause some kinda grinding noise. I have to cut the engine, shift the tcase into 2H and trans back to park then restart and try again. Sometime's Id have to back up or pull forward a bit to get it to stay in 4L.

Was your jeep rolling slightly when you shifted to 4-lo? To get a good transition to 4-lo, You should have it rolling a little and you will hear the gears crunch together which makes a good connection and wont pop out of gear. Id try an adjustment to be sure, When in 4-lo, Your shift lever should not be resting far back against the stop, It should have a sweet spot between t-case neutral and low. Sounds like it was just bound from an obstacle and wouldn't engage all the way, If it happens again, Put your T-case and tranny in neutral, Let it roll and pull back to try and see if its just a binding issue. If it is, AA has a bracket that mounts on the T-case and is well worth the money.

I just added a 1.25" bl to my auto tj and I can't get it into 4low, rolling, stopped, rubbing my stomach and patting my head at the same time, nothing works. It wont even go up into neutral. I put the linkage bracket on and I am not running a t-case drop on my rc 2.5" kit. Any ideas?

Well I didn't have any trouble out of my auto transmission but when I tried to remove the 4 bolts to the Tc bracket connected to the jeep body every rubber grommet broke on all 4 bolts. I bought the AA adapter instead of putting the crappy stock bracket back on. The AA bracket works great.

Novak's shifter is the entire shifter, it's not just a bracket. Mine has been a disappointment, especially in view of the PITA installation process. I'm not real happy with how it shifts. I may have upwards of 16 hours into mine getting it installed and shifting properly over several sessions.
