Antirock...WOW!

Yesterday was the first time I've wheeled since I installed the Antirock a few weeks ago. What a difference! I made a climb up a steep wall that I hadn't made before, and the whole Jeep just felt more solid and balanced. A NOTICEABLE improvement over discos, IMO.
Now I SEE what everyone's been talking about with this mod.

http://www.stu-offroad.com/suspension/antirock/antirock-1.htm has some pictures of it.

Short explanation, it is an off-road sway bar that is used instead of the stock sway bar and quick disconnects.

Here's a quick pic of a spot where the weight NEEDED to be balanced. The Antirock did it's job and made this obtacle easy. There's very little tire contact on the sides of the rocks, and a disco'd axle might've flopped around too much.

Welcome to the family, to pure fun, to the show, to the edge, to adventures, to the toughest guys, to ambition, to ultimate traction, to the festival, to the feeling being ready to rock.

Looks like you could stand to lose a few psi in those tires.

Also welcome to the "Lifting a tire on nearly every obstacle club".

I have one too before you start flaming, but coming down a rutted hill, I prefer having all of my tires on the ground. The Anti-Rock can keep your tires from contacting the ground in certain situations which is not benefitial.

That said, I have wheeled with and without mine in the same vehicle and I can say that I do feel better with it most times. But there are some situations where it is not so great.

I like mine as well. If I had to buy again I would. I keep mine on the rear most holes (off road setting) all the time because I couldnt tell a difference between the settings really. The collest thing is when everyone else is disconnecting or connecting you just sit and watch or help them.

I am loving mine as well. I used discos on my XJ and always forgot to put them back on.......which is how I got a TJ. Ouch! I am loving the ease of use and stability. I did send an email to Currie recommending they make rods for stock and BB lifts. You know, for those of us who are financially handicap or as I call it, going for low center of gravity.

I think it's about $300, but I haven't priced one recently.
