alloy usa axle seals...anyone?

Anyone got these in their front dana 30? I get water in my front diff. very easily and got mud caked up inside the axle tubes....ALOT of mud. Was told about these alloy usa axle seals and wondered who has experience with them and what they are like exactly? I can't imagine sliding one of those over the long axle shaft cuz mine is a little rough textured from rust, mud, dirty and all that so probably have to sand it down to avoid tearing the seal?? Is it worth the $$ for these? Cheapest i could find them was for $89.

definitely worth it...mine are on order...

guy at my local shop ran them in his Comanche...and since we run the same places, it makes sense that they'll work just as good for me...

"what are they?"...they fit into the end of the axle tubes, and then you slide the shaft through them...

Why didn't the 30's come with axle seals in the first place? Kinda odd how they have em on the 35 but not the 30.....

i never get a drop of water in the rear axle but it always finds it's way in the front...

there are seals...they're just at the differential end...and don't work quite as well...

Just ordered up a set for a customers Jeep from Redrock4x4.com
Im waiting to try them also.

I'm sure your going to replace both axle seals while you have the Differential carrier removed. I would also check the breather hose for security.
Water and gears don't mix.
