Airaid Spacer and intake install

Just got done installing the Airaid throttle body spacer and the Airaid Intake system on my 4.0L, easy to install and looks trick. I let it idle in my drive way and just took it around the block I dont hear that whistle/turbo sound I have read on the net about could it be becuase my flowmaster is louder or does it have to be in a certain rpm range? (like freeway)

Also I purchased a rack used anyone know where I can find, on the web general instructions on installing it

Thanks

Not exactly sure about the sound, and I'm not bashing you either but I have heard you get no real gain from adding the spacer. I would like to see some numbers though if you happen to get them. Gas mileage changes, HP, Torque etc.

With my AEM intake, I've got to give it plenty of pedal to hear the whistle. Take it to a main road and run through the gears and I'll bet you'll hear it.

Stomp the skinny pedel and you will like the sound it makes (your gas guage wont though)

I got the wistle when I had K&N but now I have banks enclosed intake (best of both worlds) I had to convert my air intake because I added T&T tube fenders. I miss my stock air box.

Yup now I have to get rid/sell the throttle body spacer. Boy it kinda sucks when you buy some one else's build. I still have to sell the rims so I can get soft 8's.
Just haven't decided 100% on steal rims yet.

also the whistle depends on what top you have.

it's hard to hear with my setup, but I hear it at times. But it is down right annoying in hard top jeeps.

I have a 4cyl w/ the TB spacer and AEM intake and I can hear that thing whisteling every time i drive and whenever Im going from a stop. Of course that could be cause I have the 4cyl and have to floor it 50% of the time. However I feel the mods do make a difference, because I seem to have more passing power on the freeway and can cruise about 85mph with ease.

Why would anyone want more noise for their Jeep?? . Sorry Dont know how to do the quote boxes . But the same reason ever other version of a car or truck guru does it . It makes it fun to drive and also makes it theirs .
