Can't wait to see the finished product!!
You'll have to post some video of the Hemi coming to life.
Amazing project to complete in your garage!

today I hung the engine again. this time with my home made tranny mount and the t-case in place. the auto trans required some modification to my nth tummy tuck belly pan. I can weld on a reinforcement on inside and it will be stronger than original since it will go full length unlike the turned edge I removed. I will also fab a tranny skid plate later and tie it into the nth plate. Also, the engine top is close to the hood center reinforcement, looking at everything installed I dont see why I cant lower the motor 1", I will recut the motor mount plates to the new dimension. probably wont be many updates for a little while. I will be in Ohio visiting the family. llok for more updates in the new year.......

not much time for the jeep lately......... back at it today and a little last weekend.

got the motor mount plates welded in, this was by far the worst part of the job. my welder just would not penetrate the frames rail and 1/4 thick motor mount. i put the motor in, tack the plates, pull the motor and break the plates off. did this 3 times. i finally got my stick welder wired for 220, now that one penetrates. also worked on the wire harnes whle the motor is out. I pulled the fuse harness which consists of the fat harness on the top of the firewall. it goes inside under the brake booster. 2 big camlock plugs inside. the new harness is shown.

once inside the new harness has a new scan plug. there is one wire to splice to the old scan plug, then tie the old one up inside and mount the new one under the dash for the scanner

the brake switch has to be replaced with the 05 version, they look identical but the part number stamped on them is definitely different. the brake switch plug gets three wires replaced. remove the green peice and wedge the keeper for each terminal and they pop right out. the new ones snap in and then replace the green piece
