Adjustments to Rear Control Arm
How much do I need to lengthen my upper control arms after installing a RE 3.5"
super-flex lift. Trying to correct angle on my rear pinion. 1999 TJ

You'll need to get a magnetic angle finder and see what the pinion angle is and adjust from there. Every jeep's different so no one can tell you how much to adjust.

I don't know if they can be adjusted on the vehicle or if they must be set before installation, that is why I was curious about if there was a starting point.

Angle Finder: $10
Nth Degree rear upper control arms: $150 or so. The Nth degree RUCAs can be adjusted after installation. Install them at the stock length and adjust from there. I just did mine and it was a piece of cake. |
