ABS light on dash stays on.

The abs light came on, brought the 1999 Jeep Sahara to the dealer was told the sensors were fine but the axles are rusted and to solve the problem I would have to replace the axles (what) I was told that the system works and is fine to drive but I just have to get used to having the ABS warning light stay on. Kind of does not make sense to me. Anyone have any suggestions. Sent from my iPad using JeepForum

Full axle replacement because ABS light on makes no sense. If you don't care about having the ABS functional and just want the light out you can pull the fuses. For a 99 there is probably a fuse behind the glovebox and a relay in the PDC. If you want ABS functional there needs to be a little more thoughtful evaluation of the system. Oh, and a 99 is a TJ not a YJ.
