99 tj custom rear upper control arm mounts?

I have a friend that just ripped off his upper rear control arm mount. He was going to buy new ones and weld them on but has decided to try and fab his own. Does anyone know of a write up for this or have any suggestions that may help him out?

If he still has the old mount you could simply copy it. As long as you keep the actual mounting position the same, the design of the mount itself won't matter so much. Just make sure it's beefy and is welded properly.

Ive been trying to find a kit that he could copy but havent had much luck. Im sure there are kits around since this seems to be a fairly common problem with the TJ's.

The weak cheesy frame mounts. I havent seen them myself but im guessing that they failed where most do.

I had both break on my 98 TJ (Left/ Right). I work in a metal fab shop and am looking for the specs on both the frame and axel mounts. Specs on one side of each a piece would be ideal as I can mirror. Also I will be cutting in waterjet so accuracy is a plus. Would need agles and measurments, mine are toast. Thanks for the help.
