98TJ 4.0 - time for a new trans

I flooded my trans then flushed it. It is shifing now, but we all know the clock is ticking. I am saving up for a replacement/rebuild.

I am looking for ideas and ways I can take advantage of this situation. I had a 32RH. I've looked at AW4 swaps, but there is no guide going from a 32RH, they are all from AX-type transmissions.

Are there other options to be concidered? If a rebuild is the right thing to do, what do I need to look out for?

Thanks all, cheers!

when I had my old TJ I was in the same boat as you (sold it due to mass electrical grimlins) but I already had a plan. If you want to go clutch then go AX15 there are write ups on it but you have to search. If you want to stay with a auto then your best to rebuild the 32RH for ease and its pretty beast once built. go with an inline cooler, inline filter, replace the clutch packs, shift kit, vent it!!!, deep pan, ....Im probably forgetting some of the other upgrades you can do but hopfully some of the more knowladgable gurus of the 32RH will chime in.
