98 TJ vs. 2003 TJ

Will a hard top off a 2003 TJ Sport fit on a 98 TJ?

Yes, but it will not have the vents on the side by the windows. I dont know if thats important or not.

Just wanted to make sure, I am seeling a 2003 hard top, and a guy wrote interested but wanted to make sure the 98 would accept the 2003 top.

So it will bolt right up?

No mods?

yes it will fit no mods just will have no side vents.

Side vents

Did the old jeep have vents and the new one dosent?

You could trade tailgates as well, that is where the vents are now on the newer TJ's. Someone will probably tell you that the windows are going to explode or something stupid, personally I don't see how... But you probably will have to slam the doors a little bit harder with no venting in the cabin. My $.02 would be to just pull the floor plugs.

Gettin a soft top

We are gettin a soft top for this jeep.

Dont think I will have a vent problem with this top
