98 TJ Hardtop Defroster?

Hey guys, I have a buddy that just bought a 98 tj sport with a hardtop. He said there is no rear defroster on it. What is the best solution for him to put a defroster on it? Any reccomendations?

The hard top could of been added to the jeep. It probably didn't come with a HT from the factory.

As to a solution I'm not sure off the top of my head. I have seen threads on here about this before. Maybe try a search. I'll see what I can dig up.

You auto glass shop should be able to install a defrost kit. Had one installed back in '86 in a new car that didn't have it.

Make sure you get a good one from somewhere with a good reputation. Those crappy ones are, well, crap
