98 4.0 w/o A/C serp belt?

I just got my hands on a new ride and the A/C compressor is shot (squealing badly).

Rather than replace something I'll never use (trail only rig) .... can any of yall tell me if there is a Non A/C serp belt that will fit my 98 TJ 4.0l? I just assume bypass it until I can get my hands on a york or something similar to put there

Unfortunatly I dont know the part number, but they do make Jeeps w/o A/C . . . 'cause I have one. Just bring your old belt down, tell the monkey what you need, then make sure its shorter.

Oh, and screw the york. Turn your sanden comp. into your OBA compressor.

Well I would but like I said it is squealing badly ... I'll have to check into the price difference between a JY york & a new regular compreser

The Sanden needs some kind of an external oiling system, the York with its built-in oil sump does not. Besides, his Sanden would need to be rebuilt/repaired first which is not inexpensive.
