97 TJ transmission

Ok, so I bought 97 TJ a few weeks ago. I want to change out all the fluids since the previous owner was a bit negligent. I can't figure out which transmission I have. My Jeep is a 6 cylinder, manual transmission Sport. From the Haynes manual it looks like my choices are AX-4/5, AX-15, NV1500 and NV3550, but it doesn't tell me how to figure out which one I have!

I''ll be doing the diffs and transfer cases as well. Any info is appreciated.

Thanks!!!

Hello Knot... I have the same year TJ and we both have the AX-15 5-speed transmission.

I heartily recommend using Redline's MT-90 in the AX-15. You can pick it up at Summit Racing's website and you will need at least 3.3 quarts.
