thanks for all the support...... im getting ancy... these 3 day work weekends suck and this one has been busy. stupid people shouldnt breed. anyways so...

the blonde was one of my buddies exs actually-hes traded in for a new blonde. i turned in my brunette and am now looking for an upgraded blonde model as well.

im down in allen park, and for all you non michigan peps thats just outside detroit.

ok, so the plan is to grab some sleep and then hit the dealer for the rest of my parts. im hoping to have the motor on the stand and get the 5.7 parts swapped out by the evening, then trans mounted back up and set the whole powerhouse back in its new home. i need to locate a 5.7 computer and get it plus my wire harness in a box and off too UPS for its cross country trip to tony and chris.

then i have to attack pulling the old lift off. but have to think forward

so all this idle time has me sweeping the web and internally debating and arguing with my mental accountant as it relates to swapping the axles out. see, i was going to wait on that axle swap project till later this summer-that is until my buddy called me and said 'hey ive got your cash for plowing this past winter.' kool..kinda forgot about that extra little something.

dont you just love how these things-little projects just 'snowball' and send you spiraling down into the deep dark depths of 'oohhh i could do this and i could do that' followed by hmmm how much does that cost?' if i work this much overtime and sell this for that i can do blah blah blah..... this jeep thing..... sometimes i dont understand.... still cheaper and more fun than therapy!:

i learned that the 6.1, or 426s are truely hand built by chrysler... kool. also in regards to the VVT motors, the general consensus is that none of the wiring/programming companies are going to support that portion of the system for aaaaaaaaawhile. bummer. i did find the new gen 5.7 hemis, found in the 09+ rams and challengers, are 390 hp motors. downfall to that is the JYs know it too and are trying to get top $$$ for those motors as well.

Very cool project! I also can't wait to see it finished.

I do think a guy would certainly have to be single to do this kind of project. But the next gf will appreciate riding in it.

Thought that I read that Burnsville was installiing the VVT engine in Jeeps? Pretty sure they could help with the wiring/programing of a VVT.
