thanks for all the interest.. this thing is going to be crazy. yeah that orange block is sexy isnt it! okay talked to my dealer connection... looks like everything is going to be here today EXCEPT the stupid metric bolts to put it together.... she says early next week.... crap. oh well. hopefully i can get the 6.1 on the stand and crack the pan off and swap out that stuff over the weekend. just informed dads birthday party is tomorrow so knock a few more hours off the program. im gonna put in for a comp day next week and have the whole week off.. hopefully parts will show up and i can continue forward progress.

heres my actual costs so far
  • 6.1 hemi -5000-ouch
  • trans-550
  • motor mounts-200
  • trans mount-55
  • radiator, all aluminum, bolt in-234 shipped
  • bm transcooler-69 summit
  • aeroquip-40 new fittings
  • -8 aeroquip line-no cost garage stock from previous projects
  • jba 6.1 shorty headers-430-summit
  • dealership for stock 5.7 stuff-210 as of right now- includes new trans fiters too.
  • dual battery boxes-150-summit- im gonna put them inside so i have the area in the front for a custom snorkel
  • hooters-80 to date- dinner and drinks for my friends
im not including the cost of the lift because that could have been avoided if i had planned on the hemi from day 1 and built accordingly. plus, hopefully i can sell off the kit and wash some of the cost of the new long arms and belly pan kit.

next big expense----- wiring harness conversion from the boys over at hotwire auto.

dirty pictures for some of you to appreciate

who forgot to roll up his window before the little puddle...my buddy thats who!
the jeep is silver for those who cant tell

though about the 426 but seems like that would be overkill.... and it would really blow my self imposed 'budget'
