55mph shakes
'02 SE, 100,000 miles, 1" BL, 2" BB
Had a set of Cooper tires that were about shot. For the past 2 months I would get a very noticable shake right at 55mph. I figured it was due to wheels being out of balance. Bought new set of BFG AT's today, watched the guy carefully balance each wheel. And now it still does the same thing at 55mph. Any ideas?

Sounds like you need to get them rebalanced. Just 'cause someone balanced them doesn't mean they did it properly. I bought my first set from Sears and had to take it back almost everytime after they rotated and" balanced" them because they got it wrong (idiots).

It's still possible that the wheels/tires aren't balanced. Most spin balancers don't spin up fast enough to balance at high interstate speeds. Find a shop with a Hunter GSP9700 balancer.
