Why? Pretty much everything I have read indicates the 5sp is a better transmission, stronger with a broader spread of gear ratios. Seems like a lot of work and $$$ for probably minimal gains.

I have done this swap and it's one of the best thing I have ever done for my jeep. It feels like my jeep is always in it's power band, also I gained a good low 1st gear but I did loose some of my overdrive. Was it a hard swap no but I cheated n the most diffcult part and just relocated my cps. This link hase some good info http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/showt...ighlight=speed and there are some good sites if you use google.
